prepoduction
Many artists appreciate some help getting their songs ready for recording. This includes getting the artist’s vision for each song, sharpening arrangements and structure, charting out the songs and deciding on “the sound”. If needed, it can include hiring studio musicians. REM offers a number of top notch instruments for artists to use plus a wide array of software instruments – drum samples, percussion, orchestral samples and pianos.
tracking
Whether you are laying parts down one at a time or jamming live off the floor as a group REM can record 48 tracks at a time both in the studio and for live concert work. You can continue your project at REM or take your tracks to have further work done elsewhere. We work in Cubase or Pro Tools.
REM uses industry standard software tools for outstanding results. Mixing at REM means you know exactly what your finished product will sound like.
mastering
For big projects REM recommends sending mixes out to one of the well known mastering houses, but for smaller projects and demos you can add the final polish right here at very competitive rates and with great results.
audio restoration
Need noises, pops and clicks removed from recordings? REM’s specialized software can bring damaged or aging recordings back to life.
live recording
From small café gigs to major concerts, live worship to DVD shootings REM can provide great live pick up at industry standard quality. REM is pleased to work in association with Ripple Q Sound.
